Privacy Policy
Feesh is a brand of PuzzledBox LLC (“PuzzledBox”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect through feesh.store, the Feesh waitlist, and Feesh texts from a friend’s fish (our text message program), how we use it, and the choices you have.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist
- Your email address.
- When you signed up, and the link that brought you to the site (for example, a link from Instagram).
If a friend invites you to get texts from their fish
- Your mobile phone number.
- The name you type on the invite page.
- The texts exchanged between you and your friend’s fish, including your sign-up text (FISH and an invite code) and your reply confirming you want to join.
- A record of your consent and of any opt-out: what you agreed to, when, and which fish invited you.
When you visit feesh.store
- We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and links people use. It uses cookies and collects things like pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location based on IP address, and the site that referred you.
How we use it
- Email address: to send you news about Feesh, such as when it launches. Every email lets you unsubscribe.
- Phone number: to send you the texts you agreed to, and to respond to HELP and STOP.
- Name: so your friend’s fish knows who it’s talking to.
- Texts: to deliver messages between you and your friend’s fish, and so the fish can write its replies. Texts you send go to your friend’s fish, which may read them out loud or pass them on to its owner.
- Consent and opt-out records: to show that you agreed to receive texts, and to make sure we never text you after you opt out.
- Analytics: to understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To keep Feesh secure, prevent abuse, and meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
We share information only as follows:
- Service providers that run parts of Feesh for us, and only so they can provide that service: our text message provider (Twilio), our hosting and database provider (Google Firebase), Google Analytics, and the AI services that write the fish’s replies.
- Your friend: the texts you exchange with their fish, as described above.
- The law: when required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or PuzzledBox.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist emails: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Text program: while you’re part of the program. After you opt out, we keep a record of your number and your opt-out so we don’t text you again. You can ask us to delete the rest at any time.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text from the fish to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help.
- Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us, to leave the waitlist.
- Email support@feesh.store to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including limiting who can access it. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children
Feesh isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
